Nourishing Moms + Little Ones with Sam Aravopoulos

Nourishing Moms + Little Ones with Sam Aravopoulos

In The Dream Edit, we love shining a light on inspiring women who are supporting families in unique and meaningful ways. We’re happy to feature Sam Aravopoulos, a certified health and wellness coach and holistic nutritionist, to talk about nourishing moms and little ones, daily rituals that make a difference, and of course — her family-favorite Zucchini Lasagna!

1. Can you tell us about the work you do and who you love supporting?
Sure! I’m a certified health and wellness coach and holistic nutritionist, specializing in supporting moms and their little ones. I also do a lot of deep work with people in their "healing phases" and that typically means working with clients who have acute or chronic diseases and are looking for alternative route support. I help them feel nourished, balanced, and empowered through food, lifestyle, and mindset shifts. I love working with women who want to care for themselves and their families in a way that’s sustainable and deeply supportive.

2. What inspired you to focus on holistic nutrition for moms and little ones?
Becoming a mom myself completely shifted the way I looked at health and wellness. I realized firsthand how much support we need during each phase of motherhood, not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. My own journey through motherhood, along with my background in nutrition, inspired me to want to support other moms in feeling deeply cared for, confident, and connected.

3. Can you share one of your favorite recipes that you often recommend?
Yes! My partner says this recipe is in our family's "hall of fame" - it's my Zucchini Lasagna, you can find it on my Instagram HERE. It's one of those deeply nourishing, hearty meals that is so satisfying, easy to make and amazing for the whole family. It's also really adaptable and offers a lot of nutritional benefits, especially for moms.

4. What’s one small practice you encourage for mamas who are short on time but want to feel better in their bodies?
Start your day with a tall glass of mineral-rich water. Filtered water with a pinch of high quality sea salt and a squeeze of citrus. It hydrates, supports your adrenals, and sets a positive tone for the rest of the day. It’s such a small thing, but it makes a big difference in energy and mood.

5. If your fridge was always magically stocked with three things, what would they be?
Homemade broth, fresh berries (the moms know!), and pasture-raised eggs.

6. What's the best way our community can find out more about you and/or work with you?
You can find me on Instagram at @samavocados, where I share recipes, wellness tips, and real-life moments. If you'd like to learn more about my 1:1 coaching and resources, feel free to message me, I'd love to connect!

✨ A big thank you to Sam for sharing with us and for letting us in on her famous Zucchini Lasagna recipe. Be sure to follow her at @samavocados for more nourishing inspiration.
